We are Game Shows Official, your official source of game-show information. We monitor comments, but we're going to let anything in unless it comes from someone truly bad, like a Nazi or Mokracek. And remember: All hosts shit their pants! (Except Drew Carey. He pisses them.) (This is a parody account. None of the information on here is true unless otherwise specified.)

John Davidson also hosted...a $25,000 Pyramid pilot????
According to a source of mine who worked at CBS Television City in the 1980s and 1990s, John Davidson hosted a $25,000 Pyramid pilot in 1993, one year after his version of $100,000 Pyramid left the air. I mentioned Davidson's ill fated short lived $10,000 Pyramid from 1991, and he verified it. He also said that a pilot was shot for a $25,000 Pyramid revival with Davidson as host in early 1993. The celebrities were brought back for this pilot. CBS originally green lighted the show to air at 10:30am weekdays beginning in September of 1993, right before The Price is Right. However, the show ended up not going to air because Sande Stewart told Davidson he had to quit doing the Lucky Day USA contestests on USA Network if he were to host the show. He decided on staying with USA Network instead, and Dick Clark turned down the job. Sande Stewart withdrew the show from CBS' schedule, causing the network to turn the timeslot over to its affiliates after Family Feud Challenge was cancelled. If anyone has this pilot, or if you know someone who has the pilot, we'll set up a trade.
