A kinescope of the rare Goodson-Todman pilot Make Your Move has surfaced on eBay. The Nazis over at the Game Show Forum are going to collectively bid on it, and of course they want to keep it all to themselves like the exclusive elite club that they are. A mere question about the possibility of uploading it on YouTube caused Chris Lemon and Travis Eberle (known in these parts as Statler and Waldorf) to go into their usual schoolyard bully act. And remember, they have a rigorous process for accepting new members, so it's not like anyone with 20 bucks to spare can get a copy.
I'm proposing that we at Game Shows Official engage in a bidding war with them. Anyone who's not part of their elite club can contribute. We'll even allow Casey Abell to contribute. Then we'll put it on YouTube to spite those Nazis.
I outbid someone for a stuffed whammy doll several years ago. Nothing bad said to me. Nazis must fear us.
ReplyDeleteIf there's anything Casey and us agree on, it's that GSF are schoolyard bullies with an "exclusive club" to make themselves feel special.
ReplyDeleteI posted the first bid!
ReplyDeleteWith all of their pledges, they will likely win, so the best thing to do is to have them pay as much as possible. That would be a funny!
ReplyDeleteBut then there goes another game show that I can never watch... I once thought if I watched all the game shows in the world I could finally get Vanna to love me, but now it seems I can't do that.
ReplyDeleteMy hunch says one person will post it within a month.
